Gemstone Properties:

Lapis Lazuli is one of the most prized stones. It is not technically a crystal because it does not possess a crystalline structure but is categorized as a metamorphic rock. It has been historically prized as a beautiful stone even found on King Tut.

Lapis Lazuli is known for working wonderfully with the throat chakra. It can aid with speaking truth, bringing harmony, and communication skills.  With its stunning rich, blue color it makes a soothing statement and wonderful aid for japa and meditation. 

What are malas? 

Malas are a tool and an aid to help deepen meditation, mindful and spiritual practices through the repetition of sacred sounds. Each mala comes strung with 108 beads plus the guru bead located where the tassel is. You will repeat your mantra, affirmation or sacred sound while rotating the mala through your fingers one bead at a time. 108 is a particularly auspicious number and 108 repetitions of your sacred sound or affirmation will bring your mind and body peaceful and calming effects.
